3.6 MODE
SETTING
The DAS200 with the device’s LEDs to indicate status. To select a storage policy in this mode the first time that a
new factory-shipped product is used, ensure that the hard disk drives are installed; turn on the power
before set the DIP switch on the back of the DAS200 to the desired Storage Policy. To change the storage
policy thereafter, set the DIP switch to the desired position and press the recessed Mode Change push-button to
create the new virtual volume(s). Creating new virtual volumes will destroy any existing data that existed on the
previous volume, but expanding an existing COMBINE (BIG) volume will not destroy any existing data.
