 PLOTBASE 

DIRECTORY 

subfolder is usually a folder that can be reached via a network. 
SSL subfolder: 
Except of the Default.ssl empty. The clients send the SSL jobs to 
this folder, which are then fetched by RW-480 PLOTBASE for 

editing and plotting. The SSL files arriving in this folder refer to 
new subdirectories produced for each job, which have the same 
name as the files themselves and contain the drawings for the 
job. 

 
Example: 
Job file:  

[C]:\spool\ssl\test.00123.ssl 

Drawings:  

[C]:\spool\ssl\test.00123\building.tif  

 [C]:\spool\ssl\test.00123\floor.plt 

... 

 
The SSL subfolder SSL is typically a folder that can be accessed 
from the network. 
Account: 
This folder will only be created, if you have activated it in 
"Configuration - Properties - Extended" settings. PLOTBASE then 

saves two files for accounting. One is the form file [*.TXT] and a 
database SDF file [*.SDF] 
Response: 
The folder names are named with the user names. In this folder 
there are files which contain the current status of the jobs in an 

encrypted way. 

This section briefly describes how RW-480 PLOTBASE identifies 
and accepts jobs. It is intended to provide you with an insight 
into the "Contents" of the new subdirectories. 
Generally there are two different folder types: SSL and CFG. 

Here are SSL- and CFG-Files including the according plot files. 
In addition one DEFAULT.SSL file is saved there. 
CFG- and SSL files contain settings which contain the specific 
plot parameters.  

CFG files are always paired with one plot file. 
SSL files contain the settings for a complete job of maybe more
