The SNMP agent is trilingual and supports

exchanges by using SNMPv1, SNMPv2c, and SNMPv3. SNMPv1
communities provide support for SNMPv2c by introducing standards-based
GetBulk retrieval capability. SNMPv3 support provides MD5 and SHA-based
user authentication and message security as well as DES-based message
encryption.
