Configuring tunnel encapsulation mode
Configure the tunnel encapsulation mode. The default is GRE.

configure terminal

To specify the name of the tunnel to configure, enter:
interface tunnel <tunnel-name>

To configure tunnel mode, enter:
tunnel mode {gre | ipip | ipv6ip [6to4]}
