T1 Status Box
The
T1 Status
box displays statistics for the T1 network interface. This
box includes the following categories:
Engine Bypass
indicates whether the engine is connected to the
network interface. This field displays
enabled
 if the T1 engine is
connected to the network interface or
disabled
if the T1 engine
is connected to the Drop/Insert Interface.
Sync
indicates whether the T1 engine is detecting frame
synchronization. This field displays
True
 if the T1 engine is
detecting frame synchronization or
False
if the T1 engine lost
frame synchronization and entered the Red alarm state.
DII Sync
indicates whether the Drop/Insert Interface is receiving
ones pulses and is in frame synchronization. This field displays
True
if the Drop/Insert Interface is receiving ones pulses and is
in frame synchronization or
False
 if the Drop/Insert Interface is
out of frame synchronization or not receiving pulses and is
sending AIS (all ones unframed).
Signal Loss
indicates whether the T1 engine is detecting pulses
on the T1 network interface receivers. This field displays
True
 if
the engine is not detecting pulses. If the engine is not detecting
pulses, the T1 engine transmits AIS (all ones, unframed) on the
T1 network interface. The field displays
False
 if the T1 network
interface is receiving pulses.
Loopback Mode
indicates loopback status. This field can display:
noloop
to show that the signal is not looped through the T1
engine.
localloop
to show that the outgoing signal of the T1 engine is
looped back to the incoming side.
lineloop
to show that the incoming signal is looped to the
network without passing through the T1 engine.
payloadloop
to show that the incoming signal is looped
through the T1 engine after it passes through the framing
function.
