P4_TR: Phase 4 Training - The Phase 4 Training constellation option 

allows you to specify a 4 point or 16 point signal constellation during 
the final phase (phase 4) of training. The default setting (Negotiable) 
allows the modem to make this determination. 
0: Negotiable
1: Training 4 points
10: Training 16 points
11: Reserved

PREC: Precoding - Precoding is a non-linear equalization method that 

uses information provided by the remote modem to reduce equalizer 
noise enhancement caused by amplitude distortion.
0: Negotiable
1: Mandatory
