Air Filter
The Voice Gateway 4000 provides a filter to remove most large dust particles from
the air that enter the chassis. This filter should be cleaned as often as necessary to
prevent overheating due to reduced air movement. The filter can be blown out or
washed in soapy water. Remove the filter from the chassis before cleaning and
ensure it is dry before reinstalling.

To remove the filter, simply open the filter access door on the front of the chassis
and remove the filter. In particularly dirty environments, a filter enhancement
spray may be used to improve dirt retention. These sprays are available from a
wide variety of sources. High efficiency filter material is also available and can be
cut to shape. Be careful not to reduce the cooling airflow with various filter media
to the point where chassis overheating becomes a problem.

Note:
Filters do not remove fumes or gases. Do not use the chassis in
environments where airborne contaminants can damage the unit.
