The Ergodex Manager Menu provides a series of commands to
configure and control your DX1 Input System. The following is a
brief description of the commands found in the Menu.

Main Screen Menu Commands
File Menu
File > New >Macro
(Hot Key - Ctrl + M)
Create a new Macro in the current Profile.
File > New >Category
(Hot Key - Ctrl + G)
Create a new Category for Macros in the current Profile.
File > New > Program Profile
(Hot Key - Ctrl + L)
Create a new Program Profile for the current User.
File > New > User
(Hot Key - Ctrl + N)
Create a New User in Ergodex Manager.
File > Change User
(Hot Key - Ctrl + O)
Switch the currently active User in Ergodex Manager.
File > Save
(Hot Key - Ctrl + S)
Ergodex Manager automatically saves any updates or changes you
make to Users, Profiles, Categories, Macros, and Skins.
Accumulated changes are normally written to your hard drive when
you close the Ergodex Manager graphical interface. This command
forces Ergodex Manager to write changes before you close the
interface.

Import a Program Profile “.erg” file to the current User.
Please remember that imported Macros have the potential to cause
damage to your computer system. A Macro can do anything to your
computer that you can do, including changing data and deleting or
installing programs. To prevent harmful or malicious Macros from
running on your machine, you should only use Profiles and Macros
from sources that you trust. Make sure you examine and understand
any Macros that you import before using them.

Import one or more existing Macros to the current Program Profile.
File > Export Profile
(Hot Key - Ctrl + E)
Export the current Program Profile as an “.erg” file.
File > Wizard
(Hot Key - Ctrl + W)
Launch the Ergodex Wizard to perform common tasks.
File > Preferences
(Hot Key - Ctrl + R)
Open the Ergodex Manager Preferences screen which allows you to
control the behavior of Ergodex Manager.
File > Close – Keep Pad Running
Close the Ergodex Manager graphical interface. This is the normal
method of closing the Main Screen. Ergodex Manager will continue
to run in the background and allow you to use the DX1 Input System
with programs on your computer. This command is identical to
clicking the close button in the upper left hand corner of the Ergodex
Manager Main Screen (the “x” button).
File > Exit – Shutdown Pad
Exit Ergodex Manager. Closes both the graphical interface and
runtime component of Ergodex Manager. You will need to restart
Ergodex Manager before using your DX1 Input System.
