After all connection steps are done, the DVD recorder
and TV start to create HDCP (High-bandwidth Digital
Content Protection) connection which prevents the
signal transmitted via HDMI cable from being copied.
If this HDCP connection fails to build, a warning
window will pop up. Press  and ENTER to try
again. Or disconnect the HDMI cable and use another
kind of video cable for connection. If you select
‘EXIT’ without disconnecting the cable or do not
make a choice in 10 seconds, the warning message
will disappear. However, next time when you watch
HDCP-encrypted content, the window pops up again.

If you choose option 3 in step 2, set the ‘HDMI
Output’ to ‘Video+Audio’ in the Setup menu and do
not connect the DVD recorder to an audio amplifier or
receiver, then you can skip this step.
