Setup and
installation
Point-and-Print installation
If you have installed printer drivers using the Point-and-Print method (Windows or SMB
printing), and then install the Fiery EX4112/4127 user software on the same computer,
the printer drivers may stop working. Remove the printer drivers using the Fiery Printer
Delete Utility, and reinstall them using Point-and-Print after installing the user software.
For information about using the Fiery Printer Delete Utility, see Printing from Windows on
the user documentation CD.
Opening Configure
If Google Desktop is installed on a client computer, you may not be able to open WebTools
Configure. If this happens, close Google Desktop before starting Configure.
Inconsistent user names
The Administrator user name appears as “admin” in WebTools Scan Settings, whereas it
appears as “Administrator” in Command WorkStation and Configure. However, the access
rights are the same and appropriate for the Administrator as described in Command
WorkStation Help.
