 Quick Reference Guide 
Output
Output is used to select the finishing requirements for the job. The options will 
depend on the finishing output device available. 
Options:
Collated
Select Collated for output stacked in sets to match the sequence of the originals.
Uncollated
Select Uncollated for output sorted into stacks of individual pages.
Stapled
Available if your machine is equipped with a finisher. It offers a selection of stapling 
options. Collated and uncollated stapled sets will be delivered offset in the Finisher.

Staples 2 - 50 sheets of 20lb, substance 20 paper. The maximum number of 
sheets is 20 when stapling heavyweight paper.
Off-line
Stapling
For manual stapling, press and release the button on the top of the Finisher. The 
green light will illuminate, if the light is flashing the stapler is unavailable. The Output 
Tray lowers to provide access to the stapler and bin 1. Hold your documents and 
place them into bin 1, for extra support move the rear bin 1 guide to the edge of your 
documents. Slide the documents forward until you hear the click of the staple being 
inserted to the front corner of the documents.

Hole Punched
If your machine is equipped with a Finisher, your machine will be set to either 2 or 
3 Hole Punch. Each sheet is punched individually, so there is no limit to the number 
of sheets in the set. Additional Hole Punch kits can be purchased as an option.
NOTE: Stapled and Hole Punched can be used together.
