This chapter explains how to set up and calibrate the following color measurement
instruments, available as separately purchased options:

Using the DTP32
ColorWise Pro Tools is designed to work with the DTP32 densitometer, which feeds color
measurements to the Fiery EXP6000/EXP5000 automatically.

Setting up the DTP32
Before you calibrate the Fiery EXP6000/EXP5000 using the DTP32, you must connect,
configure, and calibrate the DTP32 to prepare for measuring the printed patches (see

1 Turn off the computer.
2 Plug the square end of the interface cable (looks like a modular phone plug) into the I/O
port on the side of the DTP32.
