Automatic duplex printing requires that the Lower Tray Assembly 
be installed.

Make sure that the Duplex Unit is inserted in the printer’s 
upper (

) slot.

Load 75 - 90 g/m

 (20 - 24 lb.) paper in the paper tray.

Insert the paper tray in the printer’s middle (

) or lower (

) 

tray slots.

Never put media in the Duplex Unit; the printer will report a 
media jam.

If you are using pre-printed paper, such as letterhead:

Place the top of the page under the paper tray’s hooks.

This example shows letterhead paper.

For best results with duplex printing, 
use 90 g/m
