LINE ERROR

• Your machine  cannot 

connect with the remote 
site, or it has lost contact 
because of a problem 
on the phone line.

• Try again. If the failure 

persists, wait an  hour or 
so for the line to clear, 
then try  again.

• Turn on ECM mode.

LOAD DOCUMENT

• You have attempted to 

set up a sending 
operation without 
loading a document.

• Load a document and 

try again.

MEMORY FULL

• The machine’s memory 

is full.

• Delete unnecessary 

documents.

• Retransmit after more 

memory becomes 
available.

• Split the transmission 

into more than one 
operation.

NO ANSWER

• The remote machine 

has not answered  and 
all redial attempts have 
been made.

• Try again. Make sure 

the remote machine is 
operational.

NO. NOT ASSIGNED

• The One-Touch or 

Speed Dial location you 
tried to  use has no 
number assigned to it.

• Dial the number 

manually with the 
numeric keypad. 

• Assign the number to a 

One-Touch or Speed 
Dial button and try 
again.
