If you use a new HDD

Please use "FDisk" to partition your HDD, note that this will 
destroy all the data in the HDD 

• 

Format your HDD by standard procedures 

 

Driver installation under Windows 2000/ME/XP 

Under Windows  2000/ME/XP the driver will be installed 
automatically.

Q1:

 I can see the icon   in the system tray, but I still can’t f ind 

my external HDD 

A1:   

• 

Please make sure your HDD has been installed correctly 

• 

Please make sure your HDD has been set in “Master” mode  

• 

Please make sure you have installed correct driver for this 
enclosure
