Stick label “3” above the handle on the front of the 500-sheet paper feed
unit.

installed: print the configuration page from the “List/Test Print” menu. If it is
installed properly, you will see “Paper Feed Unit (Tray 3)” for “Connection
Equipment”.

❒ The 1000-sheet paper feed unit weighs approximately 25 kg (55.2 lb.).
• When moving the paper feed unit, hold the bottom of both sides, and then
lift slowly. Lifting carelessly or dropping it may cause injury.
