Transfer Report
This section describes the procedure
for registering the fax number of the
line your machine is connected to as
the return address for Transfer Re-
quests.
When you make a Transfer Request
from this machine, the registered
number is sent to the Transfer Station.
The Transfer Station then sends back
the Transfer Result Report to this fax
number.
You can register a G3 Direct Number
(return address) for each telephone
line your machine is connected to, as
described below.
• G3 Direct Number
The G3 Direct Number is usually
registered with the International
Access Code such as "011," country
code, area code (minus the leading
zero), "-" (a pause), and the fax
number in that order. You can use
up to 16 digits.
Example: If your country code is 1,
area code is 222, and fax number is
123–4567, register the G3 Direct
number as "0111222–1234567."

not be activated unless the return
address is registered. See p.20
