Optional Equipment Set-up

This section describes how to connect optional components to theViewStation EX, 
ViewStation FX, or VS4000 system.

This section gives procedures for installing the following network interface 
modules:

 — Allows you to connect to an ISDN network using up to four BRI 

lines.

❑

 — Allows you to connect to an ISDN network using a PRI line. This option 

is available for the ViewStation FX and VS4000.

❑

 — Allows you to connect to third-party network 

equipment, including encryption equipment and RS-366 dialers. 

The diagram below shows a general view of how network interface modules are 
installed.
