Follow these steps:

1. Perform steps 1 through 6 in the previous procedure to 

access the printer’s SIMM sockets.

2. Pull the metal clips on each side of the SIMM socket outward 

to release the module.

3. Grasp both sides of the module and gently pull it out.

4. Replace the printer’s side cover and secure the three screws.

5. Press down on the printer cover until it clicks shut.
