• Sets the V-Chip to block shows with specific TV ratings. See page 25 for detailed

descriptions of each rating. 

1. Press MENU.

2. Highlight 

“v-chip block”then press VOL+.

3. Highlight 

“tv blocking”then press VOL+.

4. Press VOL

+ to select 

“enter blocking password...”.

5. Use the VOL

+ / - buttons to highlight each digit of your password, and use the CH▼/▲

buttons to set each digit from 0-9.

6. When finished, highlight 

“ok”or “cancel”and press MENU.

7. Highlight the desired TV rating, then use the VOL

+ / - buttons to set the desired

subrating according to the table on page 25.

4. Press VOL

buttons to set each digit from 0-9.

6.  When finished, highlight 

“ok”or “cancel”and press MENU.

7. Highlight the desired MPAA rating, then use the VOL

+/- buttons to block or show

each rating according to the table on page 25.

8. Press MENU repeatedly to save your settings and exit.
