Contacts
Contacts is your personal phonebook, where 
you can store names, phone numbers, email 
addresses, photos, and other contact 
information. You can also access information 
stored on your SIM card. SIM card entries can 
be copied to and from Contacts.
You can view each entry in Contacts in four 
tabs:
You can manage your contacts in three views:
List view – displays an alphabetical list of 
contacts when you open Contacts.
Detail view – displays contact 
information.
Edit view – allows you to add and change 
contact information.

Making calls from Contacts
Scroll to the desired contact, then press the Jog 
Dial to open the entry. Scroll to the desired 
phone number, then press the Jog Dial to make 
a call.
Sending an SMS or MMS message to a 
contact
To send an SMS or MMS message to a contact, 
tap the 
 icon next to a contact’s phone 
number.
Creating an owner card
You can make your own electronic business 
card, an owner card, which you can then send 
to devices. To make your owner card, create a 
new contact, then enter your contact 
information. Then select 
More > Settings > 
Set as My card
.
Links tab 
 
contains fields for name, 
title, photo, phone and pager numbers, 
email, and Web pages.
Address tab 
– contains fields for 
address, birthday, city, zip code, 
company, and job title.
Notes tab
 – make personal notes for 
each contact.
Audio tab 
– set a personal ringtone 
and voice command for voice dialing.
