Settings
In Playback view, select
More > Settings
 to
access the following options:
Display tab
Default view
 – set video clips to open in
portrait or landscape view by default.
Size
 – video clips intended for larger
displays will always be scaled down to fit
within your phone's screen. If you select
Fit to screen
, videos that are smaller than
the phone’s screen will be enlarged to use
as much of the screen as possible, without
changing the aspect ratio.
Buffering tab
Media buffer
 – controls the amount of data
saved before a stream begins to play.
Normally, you use the default setting.
Selecting a higher setting can improve the
smoothness of playback, but requires
greater memory use.
Cache
 – cache memory is used to
temporarily store streaming video so that
data does not have to be re-downloaded if
you want to watch a clip again. Select
Clear cache
 to free up memory.
Proxy tab
Use the Internet settings unless you have
instructions from, for example, your mobile
network operator or company's IT department
to use manual configuration.
Online
Online
contains the streaming media links you
have saved from within Video or Music.
Media links may also have been preloaded by
your mobile network operator. Select a link,
then tap
Open link
 or select
More > New link

and enter the Web address. You must enter the
full path to the streaming content.
PlayNow™
With PlayNow™, you can download top
music hits, videos, games, and images to your
phone. You can then set downloaded files as
alarm signals, ringtones, wallpapers, and
screen savers or use them to personalize your
contacts.
All PlayNow™ content is available on a Web
page regularly updated by Sony BMG Music
Entertainment. You can preview most of the
content before making a purchase.
Note: Copyright protection may prevent some
content from being copied, modified, or

if an access key has expired or is unavailable,
an icon is displayed by the file name.
