The equalizer changes the frequency balance 
of sound from the Media player. Select 

 to enter settings. The drop-down 

menu contains presets for different music 
genres. Mega Bass™ boosts the bass tones at 
all volume levels.

Select 

 to perform the following:

Change the settings in the text options 
menu of text entry applications (see Text 
Entry on page 15).

Select and set up text input software.

 – activate and select 

languages for predictive text input.

 – activate auto-

capitalization.

– activate handwriting 

recognition software. JotPro software is 
included in your phone and is activated by 
default.
This handwriting recognition software 
processes handwriting input and functions 
simultaneously with an active keyboard. 
You can install third-party handwriting 

recognition software, but keyboard input 
will only be supported if that software 
enables it. If the software has setup 
options, you can access them in 

 in 

the 

 menu.

 – select this to activate 

the virtual keyboard. Select

 menu to choose  the keyboard layout 

language

You can customize your phone using themes. 
For example, themes control the screen and 
text color, icons, wallpaper, and skins. Themes 
also include a set of sounds to use as ringtones 
and SMS/MMS message alerts.

Select 

 to view and choose a theme. To apply 

a theme, choose

Using the 

 menu, you can delete or send 

a theme. You cannot delete a predefined theme 
or one currently in use.
