• Test used two chambers size 33m3 and 19m3 connected by a channel made of white sheet,
small chamber assumed to be outside (“outside chamber”) and the large chamber to be inside with the
LG air conditioner (“inside chamber”)
• One person is placed inside the chamber to attract mosquitoes
• For each test, 50 lab cultured 3-5 days old mosquitoes were released into outside chamber;
number of mosquitoes coming into the inside chamber was counted every 10 minutes for 90 minutes
under 2 settings:
- Control setting (low fan on + mosquito repelling ultrasonic on)
- Treatment setting (low fan on + mosquito repelling ultrasonic off)
Test Result:
