Backplane cabling
Front backplane
BPSMB2: connect a Y-cable and
connect the black connector to
AUX_PANEL1, then connect the
white connector to PANEL1
Connect to the black connector
of the Y-cable
Connect to the white connector
of the Y-cable
connect to the 8-pin
power connector
connect to MSAS_HD1 connector on the back backplane. When
connected, a total number of 36 SAS/SATA HDDs can be supported
(SAS/SATA expander on the front and rear panel).

connect to mini-SAS HD connectors 1 and 2 on the backplane. With
two mini-SAS HD cables connected, a total number of 24 SAS/SATA
HDDs can be supported (SAS/SATA expander on the rear panel).
BPSMB1: connect to the BPSMB2(6-1 pin BPSMB2) connector on the back backplane
