To restrict the focus to subjects at close range, set the camera 

to [ ]. For details on the range of focus, see “Shooting Range”

Press the [ ] button, press the 

[ ][ ] buttons to choose [ ], and 

then press the [ ] button.

Once the setting is complete, [ ] 

is displayed.

 

●

If the flash fires, vignetting may occur.

 

●

Be careful to avoid damaging the lens.

 

●

When the zoom position is within the range of the yellow bar 
below the zoom bar, [ ] turns gray and the camera cannot focus.

 

●

To prevent camera shake, try mounting the camera on a tripod 
and shooting with the camera set to [ ] (= 77).
