Create a filter
Introduction
You can apply filters to the list of jobs. Only those jobs are shown that match the criteria of the
filter. You can apply predefined filters and custom filters.
NOTE
The system administrator determines whether the predefined filters are available to you.

The system administrator determines whether you are allowed to create custom filters.
Create a custom filter
Procedure
1.
Click the drop-down list of the filters in the footer of the list of jobs.
2.
Click [Edit filter].
The [Edit filter] dialog opens.
3.
Select a ticket item from the list of items.
4.
Enable the [Use job ticket item in filter] option.
5.
Assign a value to the job ticket item.
6.
Repeat step 2, 3 and 4 until you have define your filter.
7.
Click the [OK] button.
The filter is added as a [Temporary filter] to the drop-down list of the filters.
If you want to save the filter, continue with the following steps.
8.
Click the drop-down list of the filters in the footer of the list of jobs.
9.
Select the [Save filter as...] option.
The [Save filter] dialog opens.
10.
Type a filter name and a description for the filter.
11.
Click the [OK] button.
The filter is added to the drop-down list of the filters in the footer of the list of jobs.
NOTE
The custom filter is not available to other operators.
