Managing Printer Usage
Special Operating Modes
The printer may be placed in a special diagnostic or other nonstandard operating mode by 
turning on the printer while holding down two buttons on the front panel simultaneously.
The front panel buttons are shown below, at left. The table below lists the special button 
combinations.
Front Panel Locks
Some of the menus in the front panel may be locked through CentreWare Internet Services 
and CentreWare DP so that users can only browse and not change front panel settings.
When the front panel is locked, you can browse and change the following menus:
Job menu
Print menu
Password menu
Color Adjust menu
Reset menu
You can browse, but not change the following menus:
Tray menu
PCL menu
System menu
PostScript menu
Parallel menu
Ethernet menu
Token Ring menu
Novell menu
Service menu
Special Operating Modes

Makes the Reset Menu available at the front panel. 
The Reset Menu is not normally available to users, 
as it contains the ability to format devices and 
perform a factory reset of all items.
To exit this mode and remove the 
Reset Menu
 
from the menu system, the printer must be turned 
off and on again.
The CRU Reset function should only be used if the 
printer did not correctly reset the life of a newly 
installed Customer-Replaceable Consumable 
(CRC).
