The printer comes standard with one paper tray for U.S. or metric paper 
sizes, depending on which tray you ordered.  You can also add an optional 
Lower Tray Assembly, which holds two additional media trays.  Refer to the 
Phaser 540 Color Printer User Manual for more information on optional 
printer accessories.  

The tray selection options let you specify the type of media you want to print 
on, or specify which media tray you want to use if you have the optional 
Lower Tray Assembly installed.  You can select only one of these options.
