Selecting print quality
These three print quality modes affect the quality of printed images and the
time they take to print. The higher quality modes,
Standard and Enhanced
typically take longer to print than
Fast mode:
Fast
This is the fastest full-color mode and is useful for
many applications.  Images print at a resolution of
300 x 300 dots-per-inch.
Standard
Images print at a resolution of 600 x 600 dots-per-inch.
Standard is
the default mode for the printer.
Enhanced
This mode produces the best quality prints, but takes
longer to process and print.  Images print at a resolution of
600 x 600 dots-per-inch.  To use this mode, you must have the
16-Mbyte optional memory kit installed in the printer.  Without
the additional memory installed, the printer uses
Standard mode
when you select
Enhanced.
