NOTE:  The KPG Matchprint Co-Branded paper is packaged in a sealed
box that also contains a re-sealable plastic bag.  Once the box is opened
the box and unused paper should be stored inside of the sealed plastic
bag to protect it from moisture in the air.

Paper / ThroughPut

For more detailed information on throughput materials, please refer to
the Xerox Materials Usage Guide and the associated Recommended
Materials listing for the DocuColor 12.

KPG Matchprint Co-Branded Xerox Color Laser Proofing Papers
designed for the KPG Matchprint Professional Server IIx system is
considered extra heavyweight paper and must be fed from Tray 5 (the
Multiple Sheet Inserter or By-Pass Tray) only.

Keep in mind that the DocuColor 12 reliability metrics are standardized
based upon throughput of Color Xpressions 24 lb. (smooth bright white
paper).  This paper is specifically designed to maximize image quality
and machine performance over a wide range of environmental
conditions. The Laser proofing paper designed for this proofing solution
is not expected to match the reliability performance of Color Xpressions
24 lb.

It is not recommended to exceed 5% of the monthly copy / print volume
with the Xerox laser proofing paper. You may expect to see the Xerox
Service Representative more frequently (one or two times a month
additionally) because of increased stress created by Heavyweight paper
to specific areas of the machine, including Tray 5 (the Multiple Sheet
Inserter or By-Pass Tray) and the Fuser Assembly.

Print Speed / System Performance / Limitations
·  The maximum print speed for the KPG Matchprint Professional
Server IIx is limited by the print speed of the DocuColor 12.
·  DocuColor 12 is a document printer; therefore in reverse order
printing the print engine will not cycle up until the entire job is
ready. This will impact First Copy Out Time (FCOT).
·
Auto Tray Switching feature on DC12 (e.g., if paper runs out in tray
1 then it switches to next available same tray page size) This
function is not supported in versions 1.0 through 2.0x of KPG MPS
Software.
·  Overall system performance (‘Click to Clunk’ time) is primarily
dependent upon the software applications and network
environment being used. Rasterizing (RIP-ing) is only a small
fraction of Click to Clunk time.
·  Printing with custom software applications may produce
unexpected or unknown results.

Optional Kits
·
MPS Server stand
·
Avantes Inc., “Spectrocam 7501 R” spectrophotometer (required
for MPS calibration with DC12 LP printer configuration).  The
Spectrocam is warranted by Avantes Inc. using a depot
maintenance RMA process by calling;
·
1-866-678-4248

 Billing meters
·
All full-page color or grayscale images will count on the grayscale
meter when "Black and White" printing is selected in the client
PPD.
