To attend a reservationless meeting: 

1.

 

Dial the MeetingPlace server telephone number and listen to the voice 
prompts. 

2.

 

Press 

 

to attend a meeting. 

3.

 

Enter the meeting ID, then press 

. MeetingPlace announces: “You are 

about to attend the meeting with the ID number <nnnn>.”  

4.

 

Confirm the meeting ID by pressing 

. 

5.

 

Follow the voice prompts to record your name.

If the meeting is in session, MeetingPlace announces your entry to 
the meeting: “Now attending, <your name>.” 

•

 

If the meeting is not in session, MeetingPlace asks you to hold until 
the meeting organizer arrives. To start the meeting with your 

MeetingPlace profile, the system prompts you to press 

. (If third 

parties are not allowed to start meetings, you do not hear this 
prompt.) 

If you entered an incorrect meeting ID, press 

 from the waiting room 

to return to the top of the main menu.  

5.

 

To start the meeting with your MeetingPlace profile, enter your profile 

number, then press 

.  

6.

 

Enter your password, then press 

.  

If the profile number and password are correct, MeetingPlace starts the 
meeting: “The meeting is now in session. Now attending, <your 
name>.” 

7.

 

If you do not start the meeting with your MeetingPlace profile, the 
meeting starts when the meeting organizer arrives and MeetingPlace 
announces: “The meeting is now in session. Now attending, <meeting 
organizer’s name>.”

If multiple profile users try to start the meeting at the same 
time, the first person to complete the procedure starts the 
meeting. After all others enter their passwords, they join the 
meeting as participants.
