With the trend toward smaller teams and the use of
ENG cameras in all kinds of applications, Fujinon
introduced the XA22x7BES, a lightweight box lens
offering the performance of large box lenses. With a
focal length starting at 7 mm, giving an angle of view of
68° 49', it is ideally suited for shooting in tight locations
and smaller studios.

It includes all the features of Fujinon large box lenses
such as Digi Power, Find System support, full HD
such as Digi Power, Find System support, full HD
optical performance and full digital control. With the
fully boxed housing, working noise is virtually non-exis-
tent and the lens can be used in the most critical
environments. Focus breathing has been virtually
eliminated, making the XA22 x 7 BES ideally suited to
modern high quality studios and drama productions.

As with other box lenses it features LED indicators for
zoom, iris and extender on the outside for fast recogni-
tion. All the quality and performance points of large box
lenses can be found in this compact lens. As a mini box
lens it doesn’t require a heavy, large lens supporter,
can easily be mounted on a smaller lens supporter that
fits to standard ENG capable tripods. The set up time is
further reduced by its built-in servos.
