Change in Labels for Transceiver Modules

In order to protect customers and help them to identify genuine Cisco

®

 transceivers, Cisco is introducing 

new security features on the labels attached to products from Transceiver Module Group. 

Initially, this brand protection feature will be implemented on the following product IDs:  

●

 

WS-G5484 

●

 

WS-G5486 

●

 

GLC-SX-MM 

●

 

GLC-LH-SM 

●

 

GLC-T 

This initiative will be deployed between late September and early November 2009.
