Configure the new Scalable M4 Blade Module with two Intel Xeon E7-8800 v3 or E7-4800 v3
series processor family CPU that are identical to the two processors in the B260 M4 E7 v3
server to be upgraded.

Configure both B260 M4 E7 v3 server chassis with like kind DIMMs. All DIMMs must be either
RDIMMs or LRDIMMs.

Remove the Scalability Terminator from your original B260 M4 E7 v3. Install the new Scalable
M4 Blade Module from the upgrade kit in the chassis slot above or below. Then install the
new Scalability Connector into the front of both Blade Module, connecting them together.
You now have a B460 M4 E7 v3 server, consisting of two Scalable M4 Blade Modules ganged
together by the Scalability Connector.
