When connected to EDGE (2G), the mobile network type will be displayed as such in the About Cius > Status menu. 
 

 

 
When not connected to a mobile network, there will not be any information for network, signal strength or mobile network type 
displayed in the About Cius > Status menu. 
 

 

 
When connected to a mobile network, the Service state will be displayed as In service in the About Cius > Status menu; as 
well as displaying a connected signal indicator in the upper right of the display.
