announces the end-of-sale and end-of-life dates for the Cisco IOS
®
Software Release 12.1 EC train and telco-return support on
the Cisco
®
uBR7246VXR and uBR7100 Series universal broadband routers. This announcement applies to all releases of the Cisco IOS
Software Release 12.1 EC train. The last day to order a release in the Cisco IOS Software Release 12.1 EC train is July 18, 2005. Customers
with active service contracts will continue to receive support from the Cisco Technical Assistance Center (TAC) until July 18, 2010. Table 1
describes the end-of-life milestones, definitions, and dates for the Cisco IOS Software Release 12.1 EC train. Table 2 lists the product part
numbers affected by this announcement.
Customers are encouraged to migrate to the Cisco IOS Software Release 12.3 BC train, which delivers enhanced functionality and advanced
features for two-way cable plants. Information about the Cisco IOS Software Release 12.3 BC train can be found at

. Table 3 provides relevant information for
