This document describes how to configure bounce verification on the Cisco Email Security Appliance (ESA).

Bounce Verification Overview
When an email is sent with bounce verification enabled, your ESA rewrites the Envelope Sender address in
the message. For example, MAIL FROM: joe@example.com becomes MAIL FROM:
