Adding Alert Recipients
The alerting engine allows for granular control over which alerts are sent to which alert recipients. For
example, you can configure the system to send only specific alerts to an alert recipient, configuring an
alert recipient to receive notifications only when Critical (severity) information about the System (alert
type) is sent.

If you enabled AutoSupport during System Setup, the email address specified will receive alerts for all
severities and classes by default. You can change this configuration at any time.

Procedure
Step 1
Select System Administration > Alerts.
Step 2
Click Add Recipient.
Step 3
Enter the recipient’s email address. You can enter multiple addresses, separated by commas.
