Appendix B      Accessing the Appliance
Step 2
Access the interface via FTP. Ensure you are using the correct IP address for the 
interface. For example:
ftp 192.168.42.42
Note
Many browsers also allow you to access interfaces via FTP.
Step 3
Browse to the directory for the specific task you are trying to accomplish. After 
you have accessed an interface via FTP, you can browse the following directories 
to copy and add (“GET” and “PUT”) files. See the following table.

• test messages for the trace command 
• Safelist/Blocklist backup file, saved in the following format: 
slbl<timestamp><serial number>.csv
