Import an Application Set, Continued

Click the Import button.

Result: If you have not saved the configuration that you are importing as a

“project” on the client machine, the TSBroadcaster prompts you to save the

project configuration as a file with extension .xtd. You can at that point save

the project, decline the offer, or cancel the entire import operation.
The path of the project file must not contain any spaces; otherwise the file will

fail to load when subsequently opened.
Notes:
•

If you save the project file in a directory containing the client files and

directories that you have included, the project file will contain only

relative paths, which makes the project more portable.

•

The TSBroadcaster will ask you to confirm that you want to create a new

application set or overwrite an existing one. If you confirm, the

TSBroadcaster imports and saves the new application set.

•

If you overwrite an application set while it is being played out, the

application will be automatically updated in the output stream. So by

keeping the Application Developer Page open while you are developing

and testing an application set, you can make changes to your code and the

file system, and then select Import to load the new changes immediately.
