Managing Playouts

Add a Playout, Continued

Click the Create Playout button. 

 

Result:  The Create Scheduled Playout Page opens.

Enter the following information on the Create Scheduled Playout Page. 

 

The name for the playout 

The description of the playout 

The name of the application set associated with the 

playout 

The color for the playout bar. Enter the color n 

hexadecimal. For example, black is 0x000000 and 

white is 0xFFFFFF. 

The carousel that carries the application file system  

Bit Rate (bits/sec)  The desired bit rate in bits per second for the 

application playout. This rate does not have to be 

the recommended bit rate 

A check box to indicate whether the playout should 

share any of the bit rate left over in the carousel 

after all the playouts have been allocated their 

nominated bit rate
