Create an OCAP Service, Continued 

 

6. 

Enter the following data on the Create Service Page. 

The name that identifies the new service 

The name that will be inserted into the SI tables for 

this service 

The AV content that should be referenced by the 

PMT of this service (may be blank if the service does 

not have AV content) 

The MPEG Program Number of this service 

The Program ID (PID) to be used for the Program 

Map Table (PMT) of this service 

The PID to be used for the Application Interface 

Table (AIT) of this service 

The association tag to be used to reference the AIT 

from the PMT of this service 

A check box that is created for each carousel 

indicating whether it is to be referenced from the 

PMT of this service 

The OCAP source ID of this service 

OCAP Service Type  An indication of how this service is to be signaled:  

• 

Analog TV 

• 

ATSC Digital TV 

• 

ATSC Audio Only 

• 

IB SI NOT STT 

• 

ATSC Data Broadcast 

The major channel number 

The minor channel number 

A check box indicating if the service is scrambled 

A check box indicating whether to hide the service 

A check box indicating whether to hide the guide

Click the Save button to create a new OCAP Service definition.
