Edit an OCAP Service, Continued

Select the service that you want to edit and click Select. 
Result:  The Edit Service Page opens. 

7. 

Enter the following information on the Edit Service Page. 

The name used by the TSBroadcaster to refer to the 

new service 

The name that will be inserted into the SI tables for this 

service  

The AV content that should be referenced by the PMT 

of this service (may be blank if the service does not 

have AV content) 

The MPEG program number of this service. This ID 

must match the MPEG program number on the DNCS. 

The PID to be used for the PMT of this service 

The PID to be used for the AIT of this service 

The association tag to be used to reference the AIT 

from the PMT of this service 

A check box that is created for each carousel indicating 

whether it is to be referenced from the PMT of this 

service 

OCAP Source Id  The OCAP source ID of this service. This ID must 

match the source ID on the DNCS. 

The service type to indicate how this service is to be 

signaled:  
• 

Analog TV 

• 

ATSC Digital TV 

• 

ATSC Audio Only 

• 

IB SI NOT STT 

• 

ATSC Data Broadcast 

The major channel number 

The minor channel number 

A check box indicating if the service is scrambled 

A check box indicating whether to hide the service 

A check box indicating whether to hide the guide

Click the Save button to save the changes to the service.
