11.  Press SETTINGS again on the remote control. 

Pioneer Note:  On Pioneer sites, press the A button on the remote control. If 

you press SETTINGS again, the menu goes away. 
Result:  The General Settings menu appears. 
Notes:   
 

12.  From the General Settings menu, set three blocked channels, and then try to 

tune them. 
Result:  A barker appears indicating that the blocked channels cannot be 

viewed.

13.  Test favorite channels by performing the following steps: 

• 

From the General Settings menu set three favorite channels. 

• 

Press FAV on the remote control to tune the favorite channels. 

Results:   
• 

The DHCT tunes the favorite channels. 

• 

The banner for each favorite channel has a blue-ribbon icon.

14.  Press SETTINGS on the remote control. 

Result:  The Quick Settings menu appears with a button icon for More 

Settings, Exit—Return to TV and Sel (for Select).
