Basic System Functionality Tests

These tests verify the ability to modify the package contents. If the actual results 

differ from the stated results, note the differences and attempt to troubleshoot the 

condition. 
Important:  Testers should create a package rather than modify an existing one. Be 

sure to delete the package when finished with this test. 

 

1. 

Tune the DHCT to an encrypted segment for which it is authorized. 
Result:  You can view the segment at the DHCT. 
Notes:   
 

2. 

Delete the segment from the package in which it is contained. 
Results:   
• 

You can no longer view the segment at the DHCT. 

• 

An unauthorized barker appears. 

Notes:   
 

3. 

Add the segment that you just deleted back to the package. 
Result:  You can view the segment at the DHCT. 
Notes:   
 

4. 

Delete the package that you created for this test.
