Cancel and Poll an IPPV Event Purchase
IPPV Event Purchase Cancellation and Poll Test
Use these tests to verify your ability to purchase an IPPV event and then cancel the
purchase, and then to conduct a poll. If your actual results differ from the stated
results, note the differences and attempt to troubleshoot the condition.
Important: If the site you are upgrading does not use Cancel Windows, check with

Purchase an existing IPPV event.

Cancel the event purchase within 5 minutes after the event begins (General
Settings menu, PPV Purchases).

Wait 2 hours to allow the Broadcast Poll to poll purchase information from
the DHCT.

Verify that accurate purchase information is in the database.

Secure Services tab.

Use the following command to query the database:

>select * from ippv_purchase where
sm_serial_num = “00:02:DE:05:xx:XX”;
Result: The correct purchase and cancellation information is stored in the
database.
