Back Up the System Components

This chapter directs the upgrade engineer to reference the latest version of the 

backup procedures that pertain to SR 2.5 and SR 3.5, in order to back up the Informix 

database, the DNCS file system, and the Application Server file system. 
Notes:   
• 

The backup procedures that pertain to the Application Server refer to the Cisco 

Application Server. Consult with Pioneer for procedures for backing up the 

Pioneer Application Server. 

• 

Cisco recommends that the system operator be present when performing these 

backups.
