Process Overview
Be sure to allow yourself adequate time to complete this procedure. Adding a
program MQAM modulator takes approximately 30 minutes. To add a program
MQAM modulator to the DNCS, you must complete the following tasks:
1 Set up the program MQAM modulator basic parameters.
2 Set up the program MQAM modulator advanced parameters.
3 Set up the program MQAM modulator connection to the MPEG source(s).
4 Activate the program MQAM modulator.

Setting Up Program MQAM Modulator Basic Parameters
1 On the DNCS Administrative Console, click the DNCS tab, and then click the
Network Element Provisioning tab.
2 Click QAM. The QAM List window opens.
