Restarting the DNCS/ISDS
1 Open an xterm window on the DNCS/ISDS.
2 Log on to the DNCS/ISDS as the root user (or as yourself) and type the

3 From an xterm window on the DNCS/ISDS, type the following command and
press Enter. The Informix database, the SOAPServers, and DNCS/ISDS
processes start.

4 Click the middle mouse button on the DNCS/ISDS and choose Administrative
Console. The Administrative Console opens.
5 From the Administrative Console Status window, click Control for the
DNCS/ISDS.
Results:
The DNCS/ISDS Control window opens.
Green indicators begin to replace red indicators on the DNCS/ISDS Control
window.

6 If any processes continue to display yellow or red after several minutes, try to
restart each individually by choosing Process > Start Process on the DNCS/ISDS

7 Do all processes display green indicators?
If yes, you are finished with this procedure.

Removing the dncsted Entry from the SSH Known Hosts File (Optional)
Occasionally, when you use SSH to log on to the TED after a new upgrade or
installation, you may receive an error stating that the remote host identification has

1 Open an xterm window on the DNCS/ISDS.
2 Log on to the DNCS/ISDS as root.
3 Open the /.ssh/known_hosts file in a text editor.
4 Locate the dncsted entry in the file.
5 Remove the line that contains the dncsted entry.
6 Save the file and log out of the DNCS/ISDS.
